Overview

No experience needed. We start from zero. Your child will learn to build, program, and control a real robot from the ground up through hands-on challenges designed specifically for beginners.

From their very first class, students work directly with robotics kits, learn the basics of programming, and see their code bring a real robot to life.

What to Expect

🤖 Build and program real robots in every class

💻 Learn coding step by step, starting with the fundamentals

🧩 Complete hands-on robotics challenges inspired by real engineering problems

👥 Small groups with a maximum of 10 students

👩‍🏫 Guidance from university engineering students and CEGEP STEM students, including students from McGill, Concordia, John Abbott, Brébeuf, and other leading schools.

🌱 Designed for complete beginners with no previous robotics or coding experience required

What They'll Learn

Students will learn how to:

  • Build and understand the main parts of a robot

  • Program movement, turns, motors, and sensors

  • Break larger challenges into simple steps

  • Test, troubleshoot, and improve their programs

  • Work independently and collaborate with others

  • Use engineering and coding to solve real-world challenges

Each week introduces a new themed robotics mission based on real engineering applications, from autonomous vehicles and space exploration to ocean research, rescue robotics, and more. Students use what they learn to solve practical challenges while gradually becoming more independent.

Why Bright Labz?

Because every child deserves to build something real, not just watch a screen.

Our classes are designed around learning by doing. Students don't simply follow demonstrations. They build, experiment, make mistakes, solve problems, and leave each class having created a real working robot they can be proud of.
